Students can choose to complete a personalized music credit at any level with our talented music teacher. Credits are completed throughout the year or in a block course at the end of the year. Recently NJ received a grant from “Musicounts Band Aid” to purchase more equipment and increase the access to music for our students. Ask Donna for more details!
Be in the Band:
This program allows students to participate in an after school band program, learn and practice musical skills, and meet new students within the school community. Norman Johnston is linked to a local musician who works with our students weekly in preparation for their performances. Norman Johnston has also appeared at Blues Fest’s “Be in the Band” for the past 3 years. Ask Donna how to join!
